About Ryan Atkinson
Ryan Atkinson has been writing about video games since the late 90s when he created an AngelFire webpage just to sing the praises of Goldeneye's multiplayer mode. Since then, his interests have only grown, expanding to additionally cover anime and film. Ryan is particularly interested in character-led stories, such as March Comes In Like a Lion, Hunter X Hunter, Usagi Drop (not the manga, though!), and an endless number of other anime. He also has a soft spot for 'trash anime' and will take any opportunity to write about them.
Currently, Ryan's top 5 anime of all time are Odd Taxi, Teasing Master Takagi-san, Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!, Hunter X Hunter and A Place Further Than the Universe. He believes Ocean Waves to be the best anime film ever made.
