Crunchyroll is rolling out home video releases for My Hero Academia and several other popular anime franchises.

As detailed on Anime Corner, the prominent anime streaming company recently announced a list of new titles scheduled to come out on DVD and Blu-ray this December. Highlights include One Piece -- Collection 33, which compiles episodes 795-818 of the long-running series, Season 6 Part 1 of My Hero Academia, and My Hero Academia's Season 4 OVA (original video animation), "Make it!: Do-or-die Survival Training." Additionally, A Couple of Cuckoos Season 1 Part 2, Utawarerumono - Mask of Truth, and I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, will also receive DVD/Blu-ray are scheduled to release this December (dates are subject to change).

Kohei Horikoshi's manga, My Hero Academia launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. Set in a world where the majority of mankind is born with superpowers called "Quirks", My Hero Academia revolves around a young man named Izuku Midoriya who longs to become a hero in spite of his lack of powers. Under the tutelage of the famous superhero, All-Might, who passes on a unique quirk called "One for All," Midoriya begins to come into his own as a hero, using his powers to defend humanity.

Season 6 of BONES' popular anime adaptation covers the manga's "Paranormal Liberation Arc" which has Midoriya and his friends join forces to take down the League of Villains and its formidable leader, Tomura Shigaraki. The aforementioned Season 4 OVA features a side story where Midoriya and his classmates hone their skills in a treacherous survival course. Crunchyroll will release My Hero Academia Season 6 Part 1 on Dec. 19. Last month, BONES confirmed that Season 7, in addition to a fourth film installment for the beloved franchise, were both officially in development.

Adapted from Miki Yoshikawa's titular manga, A Couple of Cuckoos is a romantic comedy that revolves around a 16-year-old named Nagi Umino, who discovers that he was switched with another child at birth. In a bizarre turn of events, when Umino finally gets to meet his birth parents, they decide to betroth him to Erika Amano, the child they raised instead of him. Season 6, which comes bundled with the OVA, is scheduled to come out on Dec. 19. Set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan, White Fox's Utawaremono: Mask of Truth anime revolves around a fugitive Emperor named Oshutoru who must protect the country's rightful heiress from a power-hungry general named Raikou. Crunchyroll will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray on Dec. 5.

Maho Film's I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, revolves around a spirited young woman named Aileen who, like many isekai heroes, is reincarnated into a fantasy world. Realizing that her character is doomed to perish, she decides to pursue a relationship with a powerful Demon Lord who may be strong enough to change her fate. This anime is based on the popular light novel series created by Sarase Nagase. Crunchyroll's DVD/Blu-ray release of the series is scheduled for Dec. 12.
