Bartender: Glass of God has released its first full-length trailer.

As detailed on Crunchyroll, Bartender: Glass of God is the latest adaptation of Araki Joh and Kenji Nagatomo's seinen drama manga, Bartender. Studio Liber, which is producing the anime, released a new key visual and a full-length trailer spotlighting the series' hero, Ryo Sasakura, a renowned bartender known for his exceptional talent at making mixed drinks. In addition to the new promotional materials, Liber has also released the names of six new cast members. Bartender: Glass of God is set to premiere in April 2024, with its episodes streaming on Crunchyroll as they premiere in Japan.

Takuma Terashima (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime) will portray the role of Ryo Sasakura. Yoshino Nanjo (A Certain Scientific Railgun) and Haruka Shiraishi (Golden Kamuy) will portray Miwa Kurushima and Yukari Huguchi, respectively. Eriko Matsui (Pokémon Horizons, Pokemon: Paldean Winds) is cast as Kyoko Kawakami. Ryoko Shiraishi and Makoto Furukawa will take on the roles of Yuri Kinjo and Kelvin Chen. Ryoichi Kuraya (Ai Tenchi Muyo!) is directing the anime and Mariko Kunisawa is in charge of the series composition.

Written by Araki Joh and illustrated by Kenji Nagatomo, Bartender revolves around the aforementioned cocktail-mixing prodigy as he strives to make his establishment, Eden Hall, one of the most famous in his country. While Ryo is a master of his craft, his unique personality occasionally displeases customers who are used to more professional experiences. Among these is Kamishima-worker Miyu Kurushima, who cares for Ryo after he falls ill while working. After tasting one of his cocktails, Kurushima is amazed by Sasakura's talent and helps him spread the word about Eden Hall.

After its 2004 launch in Shueisha's Super Jump magazine, the Bartender manga became a modest success, leading to the publication of additional spin-off series titled Bartender a' Paris, Bartender a' Tokyo and Bartender 6stp. These were written by Joh, but featured illustrations by Osamu Kajisa. Palm Studio produced an 11-episode series based on the first manga which aired from October 2006 to December 2006. Masaki Watanabe (Battle Spirits, Bakumatsu) directed the anime, while Yasuhiro Imagawa (Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Seven of Seven) wrote the screenplay. Takahiro Mizushima (Assasination Classroom) took the role of Ryo Sasakura. TV Asahi also aired a live-action drama adaptation starring Masaki Aiba as Ryo Sasakura and Shihori Kanjiya as Miwa Kurushima.

Bartender: Glass of God is scheduled to debut in April 2024. Bartender's first anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll.
