Based on the fantasy manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, Frieran: Beyond Journey's End revolves around the titular character; an elven mage who embarks on a journey to make peace with the concept of mortality. Directed by Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!), this anime will premiere on Sept. 29. Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange, is based on Masahito Soda's popular manga about three young firefighters who work together towards the mutual goal of becoming members of the "orange" rescue corps squad. This series is set to debut on Sept. 30.

Inspired by Hatsuharu's titular manga series, A Girl & Her Guard Dog revolves around a 15-year-old high school student named Isaku Senagaki, whose grandfather happens to be an important member of the infamous Senagaki crime syndicate. Because of this, she is constantly hounded by the group's overprotective leader, Keiya Uto, who bribes his way into her school so that he can keep watch over her. This anime is set to premiere on Sept. 28. Shy is based on a manga by Bukimi Miki, which is set on a post-war version of Earth where superheroes make up a large percentage of the population. The series' protagonist, "Shy" is determined to defend humanity alongside her fellow heroes, in spite of her timid personality. This series is set to debut on Oct. 2.

Isekai fans in particular have a lot to look forward to, as Crunchyroll is adding several titles from the popular genre. This series will debut on Oct. 7.

Premiering on Oct. 6, Season 3 of The Rising of the Shield Hero continues the adventures of Naofumi Iwatami, who sets out with his allies Raphtalia and Filo to destroy a legendary monster called the Spirit Tortoise. For those interested in a more unusual take on the standard isekai premise, Crunchyroll is also rolling out Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig, on Oct. 7.
