Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 has released the preview video and promo images for the anime's twelfth episode, "I Want to Tell." The upcoming episode is the first part of the season finale.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 released the preview on YouTube and showcased the promo images on the series' official website. The video reveals Rudy and Sylphy together having grown even closer due to the revelation of an important secret. Episode 12, Part 1's official synopsis reads, "At last, Rudus learns that Fitz is Sylphie. Sylphie also tells Rudeus of her feelings for him, and the two are united. Sylphie smiles tenderly at Rudeus, who apologizes for not realizing her identity for such a long time. Rudy decides to visit Ariel with Sylphie."
Jobless Reincarnation's previous episode saw Sylphy conflicted about revealing her Silent Fitz identity. Sylphy had reasons for being hesitant to reveal her identity to Rudy. Her respect and admiration for him made her worried about getting in the way of his personal goals if he knew who she was. Sylphy also hesitated to tell Rudy because of her dedication to guarding the Princess, who ordered her never to take her mask off in public. The Princess' safety weighs heavily on Sylphy as she struggles not to reveal her secret to Rudy.
The story description for Mushoku Tensei reads, "When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn't end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he's always wanted. Armed with new friends, some freshly acquired magical abilities, and the courage to do the things he's always dreamed of, he's embarking on an epic adventure — with all his past experience intact."
Studio Bind animates Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, and the series is an adaptation of a Japanese light novel series of the same name by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, Episode 12 (Part 1) will stream on Crunchyroll on September 24, 2023.
