Scarlet Witch vs. Hexfinder

The Scarlet Witch series by Steve Orlando, Sara Pichelli, and Lorenzo Tammetta launched earlier this year and has seen one of the Marvel Universe's most powerful beings dazzle with her new powers -- and new villains. One of Scarlet Witch's antagonists is Hexfinder, an all-new character who is a powerful alchemist and witch hunter. Hexfinder debuted in Scarlet Witch #7 and has been planning to bring the Scarlet Witch down, but it's not just Wanda that Hexfinder has her sights set on eliminating in Scarlet Witch #10. Marvel teased the upcoming issue, saying "Hexfinder has sworn vengeance on all witches and won't stop until Wanda is a trophy on her wall. Wanda is one of the most powerful forces in the Marvel Universe -- but can she stand against someone who's trained her whole life to eradicate magic?"

The battle between Scarlet Witch and Hexfinder is gearing up to be a big one, with the ongoing series promising a fascinating evolution in January before a return later in 2024. Speaking about the series in a Marvel press release, Orlando said, "Scarlet Witch has been the gig of a lifetime -- one that's challenged me, surprised me, and brought me together with some of the greatest collaborators I've ever been lucky enough to work with, and we're far from done -- I can't wait for folks to see what we've been conjuring up next, something that celebrates a massive milestone for Wanda and her family, and explodes this current season up into something gonzo, blockbuster, and bursting with power. Wanda will return stronger, bolder, and more powerful than ever—and not alone!"

Scarlet Witch #10 goes on sale Nov. 1 from Marvel.
