10 Breaking Zaku's Arms

Young Sasuke Breaking Zaku's Arms In Naruto

After encountering Orochimaru in the Forest of Death, Team 7 was attacked by a squad from the Hidden Sound Village. Zaku was part of this squad, and like other Sound ninja, his body was altered with unnatural enhancements. His arms were fitted with hollow air tubes that allowed him to fire air pressure and sound from his hands.

Thanks to Orochimaru's curse mark, Sasuke was unconscious when Zaku's team attacked, but he eventually woke and activated the mark. He then joined the fight when he noticed Sakura's injuries. Sasuke overpowered Zaku with ease and dislocated his arms. Based on his smile and taunting remarks, Sasuke really enjoyed hurting Zaku.

9 Leaving The Hidden Leaf Village

Naruto's Sasuke Leaves Konoha with the Sound Four

Sasuke craved power because he wanted to kill his older brother. The Sound Four approached Sasuke and explained that Orochimaru could give him that power, but he would need to leave the Leaf Village. He accepted their offer, and knocked Sakura out to stop her from following him.

Sasuke became a rogue ninja as soon as he left the village, and as a result, he became a criminal. The only reason why he was not issued an immediate kill on-sight order is because Tsunade was doing Naruto a favor as the 5th Hokage. What makes this act so bad is the fact that he left the Leaf Village to learn from the man who had just tried to destroy it.

8 Killing White Zetsu

Sasuke Killing White Zetsu With His Susanoo In Naruto

Sasuke acquired the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan when he implanted Itachi's eyes into his head. This allowed Sasuke to use his abilities with greater control, and more importantly, it prevented him from going blind. When he was done recuperating, Sasuke decided to test his new eyes on White Zetsu.

White Zetsu may have given away Sasuke's location during the Five Kage Summit, but he ultimately saved him from the 5th Mizukage's jutsu. That being said, Sasuke still impaled him with his Susanoo and incinerated him with Amaterasu's black flames.

7 Vowing To Destroy The Leaf Village

Sasuke awakens his Mangekyo Sharingan in Naruto

Sasuke believed that he would be at peace if he killed Itachi, but his need for vengeance only grew. He learned that Itachi agreed to massacre their clan to prevent a civil war that would have likely led to the Leaf Village's complete annihilation.

Sasuke hated the Leaf's elders because they knew the truth, and he resented the villagers who lived happy lives because of his brother's pain. As a result, he vowed to destroy the Leaf Village, which would have made Itachi's sacrifice completely pointless. This meant that he also planned to kill innocent people who had nothing to do with the massacre.

6 Invading The Five Kage Summit

Sasuke Fighting The Raikage At The Five Kage Summit In Naruto

Sasuke was technically the main villain of the Five Kage Summit Arc. He attacked the summit because he learned that Danzo would be representing the Leaf Village. Danzo was one of the elders that Sasuke wanted to kill, and he was willing to go through anyone to get to him.

He ended up severely injuring several samurai before fighting the 4th Raikage and Gaara. The Raikage ended up losing an arm during their encounter. Sasuke was able to get passed them, but he was then forced to fight the Samurai's leader and the Mizukage. This act caused Sasuke to be branded an international criminal.

5 Trapping The Tailed Beasts And Threatening The Kage

Naruto's Tailed Beasts All Captured By Sasuke's Rinnegan

When the Fourth Great Ninja War ended, Sasuke refused to release the Infinite Tsukuyomi. He did this because he wanted to start a new world where all the power and hatred was focused on him. To do this, he planned on killing the Five Kage to put an end to the traditional system.

Since the Tailed Beasts were part of the old system, he planned to kill them too. They did not like this, so Sasuke forced them into submission by placing them under a genjutsu with his Rinnegan. He then trapped them all by using Chibaku Tensei.

4 Going After Killer B

Sasuke versus Killer Bee in Naruto.

After vowing to destroy the Leaf Village, Sasuke agreed to temporarily work with the Akatsuki so that he could use their resources. Since the organization was short on manpower, Sasuke and his group were sent to capture Killer B – the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki.

Killer B was a master swordsman and a perfect Jinchuriki who had access to all the Eight-Tails' chakra. He blasted B with Amaterasu and was willing to condemn him to death by handing him over to the Akatsuki even though he did nothing to him. This act also caused strained relations between the Leaf and Cloud village.

3 Trying To Kill Naruto

Sasuke Uchiha vs Naruto Uzumaki in the Naruto anime

Sasuke knew that he could only create a new world if he killed Naruto. The two may have been rivals, but Sasuke still viewed Naruto as a brother, and he believed that he needed to permanently sever that connection. This led to their final battle at the Valley of the End.

Unlike their previous fight in the valley, Sasuke was intent on killing Naruto. He tried to stab him with Amaterasu spikes and the Chidori. He also tried to blow him away with Indra's Arrow. Sasuke also tried to kill him earlier when they met at the Five Kage Summit, but he could not do it because of his depleted chakra and eyesight.

2 Trying To Kill Sakura

Sasuke attempts to kill Sakura in Naruto.

When word got out that Sasuke had joined the Akatsuki, Sakura went after Naruto to stop him from going after Sasuke. When that did not work, she decided to stop Sasuke herself. She found him at the bridge where he and Danzo fought, and she tried to convince him that she wanted to join him.

Sasuke told her to kill Karin to prove her loyalty. Sakura hesitated, and Sasuke immediately tried to kill her with his Chidori. He knew how Sakura felt about him, yet he tried to kill her anyway, and it would have succeeded if Kakashi had not intervened.

1 Sacrificing Karin

Sasuke uses a lightning jutsu to Stab Karin and Danzo in Naruto

Danzo lost to Sasuke, but he still tried to escape by taking Karin hostage. He assumed that Sasuke would not harm a comrade, but he was wrong. Sasuke did not hesitate to shoot a Chidori spear through Karin's chest to get to Danzo. He felt no remorse whatsoever, and looked on with a twisted smile.

Karin was the reason Sasuke found Danzo, and she saved his life when Killer B impaled him with multiple swords. If this betrayal was not enough, he was prepared to finish her off with a traditional Chidori because she was no longer useful.
