The Naruto universe is back with a bang as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 arrives in bookstores.
An announcement came on Twitter along with a new trailer. After the conclusion of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations earlier this year, fans were left with the promise of Boruto Uzumaki's departure from the Hidden Leaf Village, gearing up for a showdown against Code and Kawkai. Now, with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, we witness a stronger and Boruto in action in the ongoing Homecoming Arc.
In the inaugural chapter, viewers were reintroduced to a transformed Hidden Leaf Village, three years since the close of the initial series. The stakes were high as Boruto returned to the village as a fugitive, driven by the mission to prevent Code's latest threat.
Now, as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 begins, the narrative picks up seamlessly, shedding light on the escalating threat. Boruto's evolution through extreme training is evident, as he confronts Code head-on. The chapter also sets the stage for an extended colossal battle to captivate fans in the subsequent chapters to follow.
Boruto is a spin-off and sequel to Masashi Kishimoto's fan-favorite manga series Naruto and chronicles the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team. The series debuted in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, with the title Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, in May 2016, with Ukyo Kodachi as the writer and Kishimoto as the editorial supervisor. However, in November 2020, Kodachi stepped down, and Kishimoto took over as the writer.
Consisting of 6 arcs distributed across 80 chapters, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations concluded in April this year. While it was initially announced that the manga could go on a hiatus, it soon resumed with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, in August. Subsequent chapters are slated for a monthly release. Additionally, the ongoing saga is set to receive an anime adaptation, following the conclusion of the first part, in March 2023.
