The Ahsoka TV show has brought back many fan-favorite Star Wars characters like the Jedi Ahsoka Tano and the rebel Sabine Wren, while also introducing fascinating new characters like Baylan Skoll the fallen Jedi and his young apprentice, Shin Hati. The two of them have joined Morgan Elsbeth as Ahsoka's worst enemies in this show, and they're a force to be reckoned with. Baylan and Shin have each scored victories over Ahsoka's team, but they're hardly invincible.

Baylan has clearly trained Shin Hati well in the ways of the Force and lightsaber dueling, but Shin is no Jedi Master. She may be talented, dangerous and highly motivated, but she never had the benefit of training with the Jedi Order and evidently has plenty more to learn about the Force. If Shin Hati met some of Star Wars' strongest Jedi and Sith Lords in a serious fight, they'd teach her a lesson or two about real lightsaber combat.

10 Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker holding a Green Lightsaber ready to fight

Jedi Master Luke Skywalker was once a brash, youthful apprentice like Shin Hati is, except Luke has long since mastered the Force with the benefit of time. Shin is still learning, while Luke is in a position to run his own Jedi school and impart his knowledge on a new generation as Yoda once did for him.

Luke doesn't like fighting, but he's still a talented swordsman who can stand up to the likes of Darth Vader and resist the call of the Dark Side at the same time. Whatever Shin could do in a duel against Luke, he could do it better and defeat the brash Shin Hati without much trouble.

9 Mace Windu

Mace Windu dueling Chancellor Palpatine in Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Jedi Master Mace Windu was the Jedi Order's second-most powerful member after Yoda himself. Unlike Yoda, Mace would never hesitate to leap into battle and destroy the Order's enemies with extreme force. He even invented his own fighting form, Vaapad, which allowed him to carefully dip into the Dark Side to augment his power.

Most likely, Mace Windu could defeat any lightsaber user in the Ahsoka TV show, from Ahsoka Tano herself to Baylan Skoll and certainly apprentices like Sabine Wren and Shin Hati. Mace Windu wasn't fully immersed in the Dark Side like Shin evidently is, but Mace would still overpower her with ease.

8 Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano, the protagonist of the new Ahsoka show, already fought many more battles and faced a wide variety of foes than her enemy Shin Hati could ever imagine. Even if Ahsoka somehow faced Shin in her own apprentice days, it's evident that Ahsoka would win that particular duel.

Ahsoka was Anakin Skywalker's personal apprentice and learned much from him during their many battles together during the Clone Wars. As of the present timeline, Ahsoka is near-unbeatable as an acrobatic Jedi with two lightsabers, who is easily on par with most Jedi Masters from years past.

7 Count Dooku

By the time he died in the prequel Star Wars trilogy, Count Dooku aka Darth Tyranus had become a far greater Dark Side user than Shin Hati currently is in Ahsoka. Count Dooku was a prodigy of a swordsman during his time in the Jedi Order and after it. He could even take on Obi-Wan and Anakin at the same time, which says a lot.

Count Dooku could certainly overpower either Baylan Skoll or Shin Hati if he was present in Ahsoka, and could potentially defeat them both at the same time. Even the unusual shape of his lightsaber was optimized for lightsaber dueling, a fact that Yoda didn't like. It goes without saying his Force powers go beyond anything Shin can manage.

6 Yoda

Jedi Master Yoda was the most powerful Jedi of his time, and certainly among the most talented and wisest Jedi to ever exist. Yoda evidently disliked violence and conflict, but if pressed, he could and would fight Sith Lords on even ground, including Count Dooku and even Darth Sidious himself.

If Yoda could face Sidious as an equal in Revenge of the Sith, then he would have nothing to fear from either Baylan Skoll or Shin Hati in Ahsoka. Most likely, Yoda would overpower them both with the Force alone and teach them a lesson about abusing the Force for personal gain as lightsaber-wielding mercenaries.

5 General Grievous

General Grievous unleashes his sabers in Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith.

The terrifying General Grievous was not Force-sensitive, but he could still fight and often defeat Jedi with other tactics, such as psychological warfare and ambushes. Grievous also took advantage of his mechanical cyborg body to use four lightsabers at once, move in unusual ways, and perform faster strikes than most organics could react to.

General Grievous may have lost to Obi-Wan on Utapau, but most other lightsaber users would struggle to even survive an encounter with him. Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati wouldn't last long against him even if they fought together, especially if Grievous pressed his many advantages. Alone, Shin probably wouldn't last more than ten seconds against Grievous' quad-saber onslaught.

4 Qui-Gon Jinn

Like Yoda, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn didn't enjoy combat and didn't identify much with being a warrior, but he was no pacifist. Qui-Gon could easily overpower most foes on typical missions, such as battle droids, and he could fight on par with aggressive Sith assassins like Darth Maul. It took a dirty trick on Maul's part to actually defeat Qui-Gon.

Qui-Gon would have little to fear from either Baylan or Shin, though he'd have to take them seriously and use all his talents to win. Qui-Gon could also use the Force better than either of them, and would probably use Force telekinesis to quickly overpower Shin in a fight.

3 Obi-Wan Kenobi

As powerful as Qui-Gon was, his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, was an even stronger Jedi who defeated opponents whom Qui-Gon never could. Obi-Wan was also more combat-oriented than his master was, hence Obi-Wan's blue lightsaber blade as opposed to Qui-Gon's green.

Obi-Wan learned much during the Clone Wars, and by the war's end, he was one of the most formidable Jedi alive. He personally defeated General Grievous on Utapau, and against all odds, he took down Anakin Skywalker as Darth Vader on Mustafar, despite the latter's immense talents. It's evident that Obi-Wan would defeat Shin Hati in a hurry if they ever crossed blades.

2 Rey Skywalker

A split image of Daisy Ridley's Rey in the deserts of Tatooine and the poster for the Rise of Skywalker

Like Luke Skywalker before her, Rey went from a backword nobody to a great Jedi hero in the span of a single movie trilogy. Rey learned much from Luke on Ahch-To and put her immense latent talent to good use, from lightsaber dueling to Force telekinesis and even Force healing. She also learned to resist the call of the Dark Side, as Luke had once done.

By the end of 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Rey was a powerful Jedi who could take on any foe and win, all without having ever trained in the Jedi Order with its many masters. Rey would no doubt make quick work of either Baylan Skoll or Shin Hati if they ever crossed paths.

1 Darth Vader

Darth Vader in the rebel hoth base

In his Anakin Skywalker days, Vader was nigh-unbeatable in combat as a talented and aggressive fighter, such as in the Clone Wars. Becoming the scarred cyborg Darth Vader slowed him down somewhat, but even as a broken man, Vader was immensely powerful and could defeat any rogue Jedi in single combat.

Darth Vader was a child of the Force itself, while Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati merely dabble in it in Ahsoka. Vader could dispatch either of them with ease, and Shin's aggressive style would be no match for Vader's experience and superior mastery of the Force.
