Just like its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is packed with interesting side-quests to complete, optional areas to explore, and mysterious characters to meet. The Legend of Zelda franchise has always been known for its bizarre and mysterious characters, and Tears of the Kingdom is no different, especially when it comes to Malanya, the god of horses. Malanya was first introduced in Breath of the Wild as a method of reviving the player's deceased horses. The horse god now returns in Tears of the Kingdom with the ability to not only revive horses but also upgrade their stats. What's more, Malanya often delivers messages to Link where he hints where Link can find the best horses in Hyrule.
By discovering and lodging at Tears of the Kingdom's stables, or registering horses with them, players can earn Pony Points, which essentially function as a reward system for using the stables' services. After earning seven Pony Points, players are given the opportunity to sleep in the stables' more expensive Malanya beds -- special beds that provide Link with extra stamina and health once he wakes up. These beds not only boost Link's stats, but Malanya will also deliver mystical messages to Link in his sleep.

Where To Find Malanya In Tears Of The Kingdom
While players don't need to find Malanya to get his most important mystical messages, it allows players to improve and revive their horses. Players will find Malanya in Bloodleaf Lake in North Akkala (4295, 3211, 0151). Malanya will be inside a flower bud in a spring similar to those of the fairies.
However, Malanya will only get out if Link gives him an Endura Carrot, so players should carry this item when looking for Malanya (Endura Carrots will also be needed if players need to revive one of their horses). Once players get Malanya out of the spring, Malanya will also deliver messages about recipes that he wants the players to bring to him in order for him to improve the horses' stats.
Every Mystical Message and Where They Lead
There are eight mystical messages Malanya will give players that are worth investigating, most of which lead to the game's best horses, but Malanya also helps players to find Dondons, the new interesting creatures in Tears of the Kingdom. It's worth noting that you do not need to have Malanya beds unlocked to begin making these discoveries. Also, you can sleep in Malanya beds as many times as you like to continue to receive these messages.
Once Malanya has been discovered, he will begin delivering messages about meals that are required to upgrade your horses. Those messages are almost unnecessary though because you are able to make note of which meals you need when visiting Malanya. So, here are Malanya's most notable messages, along with the coordinates of each location he describes and any additional details that may help make your journey a bit easier.
