The trailer for Dimension 20's latest season Burrow's End sees Aabria Iyengar return to the Dungeon Master's chair to guide her team of stoats on a harrowing and heartfelt journey.

After wrapping neuro-noir Mentopolis, Dimension 20 began to tease its next adventure on social media, which provoked an onslaught of fan speculation from comedic to sincere. Prior to the Burrow's End trailer, a series of emojis – including a blue circle, a tree, and a lightning bolt – led some fans to suspect a Percy Jackon-esqe Greek mythology season was in the works from Dropout. However, the trailer revealed the meaning behind those emojis revolves around the emotional journey of the campaign's central party of stoats and the snippets of their forthcoming quest have already evoked fan comparisons to tales such as Watership Down, Redwall, and Warrior Cats.

The stoats, similar to weasels in appearance, of Burrow's End will be played by faces familiar to fans of Dropout and the TTRPG community. Dimension 20 regulars Brennan Lee Mulligan, Erika Ishii, Siobhan Thompson, and Isabella Roland join newcomers Rashawn Nadine Scott and Jasper William Cartwright. Though Burrow's End marks Scott and Cartwright's first season at Dimension 20's table, Dropout fans will recognize South Side actor Scott from appearances in series such as Make Some Noise, Dirty Laundry, and Game Changer. Cartwright hails from the podcast Three Black Halflings and is a DM on Not Another D&D Podcast's Bahumia Two Shot, making him another exciting addition to Dimension 20. Despite boasting a forest-dwelling party consisting of small creatures, Burrow's End will return to 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons as its core system.

Iyengar returns to her role as Game Master, a position she's occupied for Dimension 20 seasons such as Misfits and Magic and A Court of Fey & Flowers. The Burrow's End Game Master is a veritable juggernaut in the TTRPG space from Worlds Beyond Number and serving as Dungeon Master for Exandria Unlimited to completing a recent guest stint as Deanna for Critical Role's ongoing third campaign.

Iyengar's influence extends to geek culture dominance beyond just the TTRPG space, recently lending her voice to Starfield and reigning supreme as Critical Role's Midnight Queen. Upon the release of the trailer for Burrow's End, Dimension 20 continued to celebrate all things Iyengar by changing its profile picture across social media platforms to the incoming Game Master.

The 10-episode Iyengar-led Burrow's End comes to Dropout on Oct. 4, with Adventuring Party talkbacks following each new installment.
