Summary

When middle-aged high school chemistry teacher Walter White is diagnosed with inoperable, terminal lung cancer, he embarks on a dangerous journey into Albuquerque, New Mexico’s thriving methamphetamine trade by becoming a crystal meth cook so he can leave behind a nest egg for his wife, son and unborn daughter after he’s gone. Partnering with a former student-turned-junkie Jesse Pinkman, Walt becomes known as Heisenberg and manages to catch the attention of his DEA brother-in-law Hank Schrader – as well as the notorious Gus Fring, among others. Even after he’s in remission, Walt continues to grow his meth empire, becoming a multimillionaire and the southwest’s most-wanted drug dealer in the process.
