Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 is coming to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD just in time for the Christmas season.
Paramount Home Entertainment is inviting Star Trek fans to go behind the scenes of Strange New Worlds Season 2 with over two hours of special features, including exclusive deleted, extended and alternate scenes, and so much more. The second season of the fan-favorite Star Trek series will be available to own on physical formats on Dec. 5, making it the perfect stocking stuffer for this holiday season. The 4-disc DVD, 4-disc Blu-ray and 3-disc 4K UHD collections feature every thrilling episode, including a special crossover event with Star Trek: Lower Decks and the first-ever Star Trek musical episode.
"In Season Two of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, commanded by Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount), confronts increasingly dangerous stakes, explores uncharted territories, and embarks on personal journeys that continue to test their resolve and redefine their destinies," reads the official synopsis. "Facing friends and enemies both new and familiar, their adventures unfold in surprising ways never seen on any Star Trek series."

Prepare to explore Strange New Worlds with more than two hours of special features, including an alternate take of the Klingon song from "Subspace Rhapsody," which holds the honor of being the first musical episode in Star Trek's history. For Star Trek collectors who are aiming to have the ultimate collection, Paramount Home Entertainment has unveiled 4K UHD and Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbooks. Both include a "Subspace Rhapsody" poster while the 4K UHD Steelbook includes a set of four exclusive character magnets that will let fans customize the key art with their favorite character.
Strange New Worlds Renewed for Season 3
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds recently concluded its second season on August 10 by introducing another key character from The Original Series: Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, played by Martin Quinn. While his appearance was brief, Quinn is confirmed to return as Scotty in the upcoming third season of Strange New Worlds, which was recently delayed indefinitely due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
The first two seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds are streaming on Paramount+. Season 2 arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Dec. 5, 2023.
