This race against time coincides with their ultimate battle against the supervillain, Immortus, resulting in an intense showdown.

The trailer doesn't just showcase action-packed sequences, but it also highlights some deeper themes, giving viewers a glimpse of funny, as well as heartwarming emotional moments between the main characters. While Cliff Steele asks, "Is this really the end?", Elasti-Girl presents a monologue about having conquered various notorious villains. Complementing the video is the song "We Know It's Over" by Simon Diamond and Karl Hungus, while a transition also states "All good things are doomed," setting the tone for the climactic conclusion.
